Eco-Columns

LT: Monitor an ecosystem throughout the year to determine if it is in equilibrium.
Today:  Build your eco-column!
HW:   Draw what you think your eco-column will look like in 8 months.
Due today:  classroom code ideas
Warm Up (WU):  List 5 things fish need to stay alive. Be as specific as you can.

Flex Time: Friday – check your grade on Synergy and see me if you are missing assignments or need to rewrite your essay.

˜Ecosystem:  a community of organisms and their abiotic environment
˜Community: group of various species that live in the same habitat and interact with each other
˜Abiotic: the non-living part of an ecosystem
˜Biotic: the living part of an ecosystem
˜Terrestrial: of or pertaining to Earth / land / ground
˜Aquatic: of or pertaining to water
˜Equilibrium:  a state of rest or balance

˜Moisture – both water level and visible water on sides (condensation)
